Our mission as Disciples of Christ is to profess faith, proclaim hope and practice love. |
“I can't thank you enough for the wonderful Celebrate Recovery Program you
have every Tuesday night. The energy, insight, laughter, wisdom and
encouragement are beyond words. You make everyone feel so welcome and
valued.
“How could we ever thank the awesome angels who prepare such incredible
meals, and treat us all with God's Love and Grace, except to say that God
Himself surely smiles on each of you.
“May God Bless all of you richly for your hospitality and love.”

Log Cabin Worship (Yes, we really do have a log cabin!): OPEN acoustic jam; if your instrument doesn't require batteries or an amplifier, bring it to the Log Cabin Saturday Night and learn some ole' time Gospel music. No collection, no communion, no grand ceremony of any sort -- just a little preaching, a lot of good fellowship and an easy-going opportunity to play music, just for fun.
Wednesday Evening: 6:30 p.m.
Prayer Meeting: If you believe in the power of prayer, join us in the Sanctuary as we thank God for His blessings and pray for our church, our ministries and our loved ones.
First Sunday: 6:30 p.m. Back Door Coffee House: On the first Sunday night of every month, we skip the worship service for some great music by a lot of local Christian musicians, from a lot of area churches. It's strictly "pray and play" with great music, good refreshments and coffee house seating.
Tuesday: 7 p.m.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-Step program. Join us for group worship, followed by small group break-out sessions and late-night fellowship.
What is the meaning of life? If there's no God, then life has no meaning. Ah, but if God does exist, then the answer is obvious! The meaning of life is the Love of God! Read all about it in our February 25, 2007, sermon, The Meaning of Life.
Brothers and Sisters, are we ready to take the Promised Land? I know, you think you're already there, or maybe you're napping on the green pastures of Judah. But there's a Promised Land yet to be taken; do not harden your hearts! Learn more in the October 29 sermon, Lion of Judah, King of Israel!
Some people love Tropical Sands Christian Church because it's just like the church they grew up in: Three songs, communion, choir, organ and straight-ahead Gospel preaching. Others love it because it's like no church they've ever seen: friendly, musical, casual and inviting.
Well, which is it? Familiar, or something new? It's both! The familiar "old-school" church of our childhood, coupled with a new sensibility about what church SHOULD be! We don't compromise, but we also don't judge. We know the Bible's true, but we don't think anyone has cornered the market of scriptural understanding. We trust in Jesus Christ, and that has to be enough, because it's all we have.
We like to encourage musicians, even those who might not pass the audition elsewhere. We give our best to God, and that means loving everyone. The world will know we are Disciples of Christ if we love one another, so that's our priority. Jesus said those who welcome children welcome Jesus Himself, so we have qualified staff members ready to serve your children every Sunday morning. The most important person here is the next one through the door.
If you love Jesus and hate church, this might be your kind of place! If you want to know what Jesus said and how it applies to life, that's pretty much all we talk about! If you're looking for a church that will treat your spouse, parents and children like important people, then bring them to Tropical Sands Christian Church. We just want to do what Jesus says to do, and we all know what He says to do -- LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
We're one; you're another. Sounds like a winning hand. Don't give up on church; instead, please give Tropical Sands Christian Church a try. No, really; you need to try this church! 2726 Burns Rd., Palm Beach Gardens,
